Anurag Krishna Shastri had been an avid listener of this flowing Bhagwat Ganga since his childhood. Having grown up discussing and discoursing scriptures and religions with Grand father and uncle, being a part of many meetings of great saints and his grand father, his understanding of them has been honed to perfection.

He recited Shrimad Bhagwad Mahapurana sitting before spiritual existence of revered Sri Gaya Prasad Ji in Giriraj Sri Govardhan following a silentive fast in Chaitrya Navratri in the companionship of revered Sri Ramdas "Kaka Ji". Having being piously blessed by revered Kasshni Swami Sri Guru Sharnanand Ji Maharaj, He initiated His Bhagwad Preaching journey by  organization of 108 Srimad Bhagvad. Later on he was blessed reciting Srimad Bhagvad Mahapuran in front of spiritual existence of his divine grace maternal Grand mother.
